Holy Roller presents this clip from an obscure 90′s VHS documentary.
The following footage is part of a 63 min film that features Omar, The Young Disciples, Mica Paris, Brothers Like Outlaw etc, and (uncredited) archival footage from Dick Jewell’s Jazz Room. Paul Bradshaw and Giles Peterson appear in the clip, and also Roy Ayers who talks about the London Acid Jazz scene of the time and how the freeform movements of the London jazz dancers were a throwback to the 30′s.

This is very interesting footage that confirms what I have been saying for years, and also opens up additional questions regarding the whole “Floor Violence” controversy… Thanks for posting this IG.
