Bill Bixby vs SOS:the Jack Mcghee skank

The incredible Hulk was a tv series that starred Bill Bixby and Lou FerrIgno and ran for 5 seasons between 1978 and 1982 HolyRoller presents special tribute dedicated to the hot heads of the world.

“Dr David Bruce Banner physician.scientist,source of inspiration to many a hiphop artist…Searching for a way to tap into the hidden strengths that all humans have.
then an accidental overdoes of gamma radiation alters his unigue body chemistry a startling metamorphasis uccurs”.

Dr David Banner drifts from place to place searching for a cure,but has a knack for finding himself in all kinds of trouble,from down trodden children and oppressed women to hijacked planes and crazed gorilla’s.
Banner can never resist getting involved, which leads to regular kingsized beat downs for his trouble, resulting in said startling metamorphasis,the monsterous wrecking ball of a creature known as the Hulk. (Stan lee and Jack Kirby’s legendary 1960’s Marvel comic book Super hero.)
Ladies man Banner is also prone to leave a woman or 2 behind in many episodes. He walks off into the rain with leather shoulder bag, accompanied by that melancolic piano melody dampening the mood.

What hasn’t been mentioned yet is that in relentless pursuit of Banner is newspaper reporter Jack Mcghee. The not too bright Mcghee seems unable to see the obvious’THE HULK IS DAVID BANNER‘!!… still he blindly chases the creature and another front page story
Jack Mcghee is somehow always in the picture, Banner coincedentally bump’s into Mcghee without fail in most episodes by some pretty uncanny twists of fate,(btw Mcghee never see’s Banner,but Banner always see’s Mcghee!) in these cases fiction is FAR stranger than truth.
A dieing hit and run victim speaks to Banner (who is coincedently on the scene!)with his last breath…”
promise me you will get this tape to my friend,…the reporter JACK McGHEE!!
Oh No,Not you again Mcghee! Mr Mcghee don’t make me angry…you wouldnt like me when i’m angry!

This is one of many similar plots that lead to Dr Banner to the same end… a severe beating before changing into the Hulk.

Once again the tense dramatic music as Banners eyes turn white,then its new shirt time as the giant sized green torso rips his  shirt to shreads..well a specially prepared super small super flimsy badly stitched one.(Remember these are the days before digital technology hit the screen!)

In the search for scenario’s to lead to Banner changing into the Hulk you’re guaranteed the standard pretty sketchy plot.so lets check some…

1.Brandon Cruz stars as the young kid Kevin who plays the only passenger with the knowledge of flying (a 747 jet!?)
He and the Hulk have to try and bring the jet liner to a safe landing after the entire crew is disabled….urm the pilot is disabled by … you guessed it…the Hulk!

2.Banners interest in the experiments on reasearch animals at a zoo creates a suspicion ,which is explained when he learns he has stumbled into the middle of a smuggling operation,now he must take a severe beating from the villains and turn into the hulk and save the day…not to mention fight the ‘gorilla’ well a stunt man in a circus ape suit…classic!!!

3. David Banner becomes involved in a battle for control of the local dock workers union.The young widow of the unions last president,who’s death remains an unsolved mystery,be friends and when her life is in dangered Banner comes in takes a severe beating from the villains and save the day…
4.Hulk v Thor don’t even go there!

Classic television from the Shottsman archives. Entertainment will never be the same again… Big up Bill Bixby.
Props to Hulk character body builder Lou Ferrigno for enduring the green spray paint,sore eyes from the contact lens abuse and bare foot sprinting.
